Oral Health

In this type of appointments, we aim at encouraging patients to promote their oral health and the prevention of oral diseases. In order to do that, it's essential to raise the patients' awareness of the correlation between oral and systemic/general diseases.

Here you can raise questions and learn oral health maintenance techniques.

Treatments:

- Periodontal diseases (gengivitis, periodontitis/ pyorrhoea);

Dentistry and cosmetic dentistry

- Tooth restorations using composite materials

- Tooth restorations using amalgam

- Tooth restoration using ceramic materials

This speciality is focused on recovering the function of teeth with cavities or trauma. Through restorations or reconstructions, the dentist can reshape the tooth or, in some cases, change its shape to make it look better.

Cavities and fractures should be treated as soon as possible to avoid complications. Leaving them untreated can lead to pain or infections that affect the tooth itself, or even the adjacent teeth. In these cases, there is the need for a treatment that involves the pulp (nerve) .

So, before the restoration, we have to proceed with an endodontic treatment (root canal/nerve treatment). In extreme cases, cavities can destroy the tooth to such an extent that there is the need to extract it (pull it out) because it can no longer be restored.

Currently, using state-of-the-art materials, cosmetic dentistry is able to solve problems such as darkened, pigmented, fractured or deformed teeth, treating them in order to offer you a beautiful and natural smile.

Fixed Prosthesis

- Aesthetic rehabilitation

- Single or multiple rehabilitation

- Dental crown on the spot using a Cad-Cam system (this system allows making high-quality ceramic crowns in a single day without using moulds)

Fixed prostheses are used to replace natural teeth that were lost or damaged, restoring their function, appearance and the patient's phonetic skills.

The most usual fixed prosthetic solutions are veneers, crowns or bridges (dental elements, some of which support the missing dental bridges). All individual rehabilitations are made, where possible, on the very day at the clinic using cerec 3D, the world's most advanced system for providing computer-aided cosmetic dental treatments.

The advantages of cerec 3D:

 . no need for moulds

. crowns or restorations of the colour of the teeth (no metal)

. highly resistant and biocompatible materials.

 . Perfect fit (computerized reading)

. Crowns available in just a few hours

 . Less appointments.

. We can see the crown's shape before we make it.

Removable prosthesis

- Acrylic or skeletal

- Total or partial

Endodontics

- Single or multiple root canals

- Retreatments

Endodontics treats pulp lesions (nerve). Most endodontic procedures are carried out when there is a deep cavity that has reached the pulp (nerve), or when there has been a trauma or fracture. The pulp can be alive, inflamed, infected or with necrosis (dead). In this treatment, the pulp is removed and the canal is filled with a thermoplastic material. Endodontics (root canal) prevents consequences like pain and serious infections.

Oral Surgery

- Tooth extractions

- Correction of bone defects

- Unerupted tooth extractions

- Unerupted tooth traction

- Epulis exeresis

- Bridle excision

- Cyst exeresis

- Apicectomies

- Maxillary sinus elevation
