Implantology
Implantology is a surgical area of Dentistry that is focused on the insertion of dental implants. Dental implants are structures made of pure titanium, which are inserted into the jaw or mandible and replace the roots of lost teeth. They offer a safe and permanent solution for the replacement of one or more teeth, working as pillars to support individual crowns and fixed or removable, partial or total bridges.
By using dental implants, patients will no longer have to choose solutions as uncomfortable and unsightly as removable prostheses supported only by the mucosa, and they can feel the comfort provided by natural teeth again.
